Where is your office located?

My office is located in New York, New York. I am available to clients online only.

What are your hours?

My office hours are 10 AM – 10 PM M-F, 10 AM – 5 PM Saturday.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 50 minutes.

Do you take insurance?

No.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

I offer a FREE 15-minute consultation. Call or text (917) 342-2154 to set up the first appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Clients must cancel 24 hours in advance. If you fail to call or show up for your session, you will be charged $300 for the missed session. 

What is your professional training and experience?

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marriage and Family Studies and a Master’s in Counseling with a Marriage, Couples, and Family Emphasis.

My first three years of professional work were with individuals dealing with Substance Use, LGBTQ+ Teen Counseling, and Couples Counseling. My focus and experience now include individual identity work, LGBTQ+ issues, and coaching.

What age ranges do you work with?

Typically, I meet with clients between the ages of 15 and 45.

Do you work with women? Men? Couples?

I typically meet with all humans and individuals within the gendered binary or non-binary. I have a waitlist for Couples.

What do you do in sessions with clients?

I provide a goal-oriented approach to counseling and coaching. We first clarify your life goals and then create a plan to work towards these goals together.

Do your clients receive assignments to work on between sessions?

I leave the decision of whether to include assignments for each client to choose.

What modalities do you use in your work with clients?

I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, Radical Acceptance, Existential Therapy, and Social Constructionism.

Are you LGBTQIA friendly?

Absolutely!

Do you write support letters?

Yes, typically for transgender surgeries, emotional support animals, and academic or work accommodations.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

I offer both.

How long will I be in therapy?

I am typically goal-driven, so therapy may last as long as you have a goal and may conclude when you achieve your goal. We may transition from weekly sessions to biweekly or even monthly check-ins.

Do you prescribe medications?

No.

Are you licensed?

Yes.

Do I have to talk about my dreams?

Nah.

Do I have to tell you everything?

No. As we build a foundation of safety and trust, you may feel more comfortable opening up about anything you are comfortable discussing.

Cats or Dogs?

Cats. Although I love all furry friends.

Should I wear waterproof mascara?

Probably.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Be in good company.

What is your favorite genre of TV/film?

I like comedy and true crime, but not horror.
